Offenbar befindet sich eine Extended Edition von Age of Mythology in Entwicklung, dies wurde in einem Live-Stream indirekt angekündigt (ab 43:41 Min.). Im Prinzip ist nur das Titelbild zu sehen - sowie die Logos (Steam und Microsoft Studios). Eine große Überraschung wäre diese Neuauflage nicht, schließlich gab es schon HD-Editionen von Age of Empires und Age of Empires 2. Eine offizielle Ankündigung steht aber noch aus.
